The NFL Rules
Packers' fans had a rough year last year when Aaron Rodgers was lost for the season. Rodgers broke his collarbone when Anthony Barr landed on him. This hit was legal last year, but this year it might be a foul, and I say might be a foul because the officiating this year hasn't been consistent with their calls. The NFL is standing by the rash of horrible calls in the first three weeks of games. The rash of flags thrown at defenders tackling the quarterback. Why is the quarterback getting such special treatment? Does it have anything to do with the NFL paying quarterbacks a large sum of money? These poor quarterbacks are exposed to some vicious hits that for some reason never get called. A casual fan can't help but notice the inconsistency of the calls that aren't called.
